The Netherlands is best known for its windmills, cheese markets, wooden shoes, bikes and tulips. Thousands of tourists come from all over the world to visit this small but welcoming country during their summer holidays. But Dutch autumn is also a beautiful and enchanting time of the year, and the whole country turns into a cosy and attractive destination despite the increasing rainfalls and wind. And what to do when outdoor activities are put on hold? Get indoors and enjoy some of the best events from business conferences and job fairs to yoga classes and lifestyle workshops. PWN Amsterdam: Creating a global mindset

Professional Women’s Network (PWN) is a dynamic and modern global alliance that provides training, mentoring and a cross-sectoral networking platform for professional women. The federation has an effective online platform, linking thousands of businesspeople while also holding up to 600 great variety and of offline events all year around. This September’s event, Creating a global mindset,  aims to share hands-on tips on how to stimulate and improve international collaborations between companies. The evening’s special guest will be the successful consultant and coach,  Maaike Jongepier. Maaike will share her more than 20 years’ experience as an advisor and a coach/trainer in the areas of leadership, change management, personal coaching and team development. Creating a global mindset is revealing a new way of working – are you ready for the change?


Leadership in Action: Women In Leadership!

Leadership in Action is brought to you by Stitching Soualiga Foundation (SSF); a non-political, non-profit organisation that aims to bridge the gaps between the Netherlands and Sint Maarten and to build on the latest developments in the Dutch Kingdom. Their upcoming event this October is targeting young women with a particular interest in young women from the Dutch Caribbean Islands or the Netherlands. And what is in it for these women? SSF is offering you their third master class in its ‘Leadership in Action‘ series. It will feature three experienced and established leaders that give their insight on good leadership, what does it take to be a good leader, or what is leadership exactly. The event is a fantastic opportunity for anyone, who aspires to fulfil leadership roles one day and who wants to start building a relevant professional network.

WE Club Playground – work with body and mind

Two women (Marja & Neza) decided to take their passion for community building to the next level and today, as the founders of WE Club, they help their women peers to do the same. They lead them to stick together and create a tribe of women entrepreneurs who support, empower and inspire each other. Those, who attend this event can expect an exciting platform to meet women with a similar mindset, share their wildest ideas and receive support on how to turn them into reality. 3rd World Conference of Women’s Shelters in the Netherlands

Did you know that today one in every three women already was or will be facing with violence during her lifetime? The Global Network of Women’s Shelters (GNWS) aims to make a change and to end violence against women and their children. After Canada and the USA, now, GNWS is organizing its 3rd world conference in The Netherlands with the primary goal to find the strength, knowledge and support to continue combating violence against women.  The topics and speakers of the conference are yet to be confirmed. But following up on the previous year’s, where the event hosted Princess Mary of Denmark, former President Bill Clinton, or actress Reese Witherspoon, attendees can expect a prestigious event. This year’s discussions are most likely to include talks on dealing with violence in organisations, managing and financing of women’s shelters, empowering women and new approaches in shelters. This event is for the game-changers.
