Train yourself to succeed

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Why we stop acting before we even begin

Most of the time, we taste failure even before we begin. And it is simply because we feel we are not ready or the fear of failure holds us back. The time we spend on preparing ourselves – many times – leave us with regrets of not attempting at all and missing out on opportunities.

We are never going to be prepared enough for our final exams or our most important business projects. We would always have the feeling that we could have read one more page or have done some deeper research or analysis.

But if you don’t do it, you may be losing one of the finest opportunities that will come your way. You won’t get unlimited chances to have what you want and nothing is worse than regretting the opportunities you didn’t seize.

Train yourself to succeed

This is why we have to train ourselves to take the risk to win our dreams. The risk of failure exists from the moment we start, but it’s our belief that reduces the chances of failure and paves our way to winning our dreams.

Just think: the ground coffee beans are unique. After they are exposed to the boiling water, they change the water and create something new, something more desirable, more acceptable, more useful than just being coffee beans lying in a bottle.

The same applies to you: you are unique! So embrace the opportunities which resonate with your dreams, and yes, it may involve difficulties. But even if you don’t succeed, you will develop and grow from your experience and just like the coffee beans, you will create something new.

Imagine if all the challenges would be known to us at the onset of a journey, most of us would never start at all.  As the Scottish author, J.M. Barrie said, we are all failuresat least the best of us are. So never give up striving to achieve your dream. Believe in the process and continue to do all the little and big things to bring out the BEST in yourself.

“You are not obligated to win all the time, but you are obliged to give your best all the time.”

Life wants you to win

A challenge is an obstacle to a particular thing, not to you as a person. We have a tendency to focus on the failure or in many cases just the chances of failure, but forget about all of the other experiences of life. I’ve truly come to believe that if we can find the courage to do the things that make us feel most alive, we do not only do ourselves a favor but we do a favor to the world, too.

Always believe that life wants you to win. Deep within us there is always a fear of failure, a fear of the unknown that convince us to either stop even before starting or surrender when we are just about to beat our goals.

But, all you need to do is to get out of your own way. And instead of giving out the driver’s wheel to your fears, believe in your real self, in your determination, in your passion. And begin to fly.

Till we meet again:

stay true to your deepest values and best ideas!
