There was a time when I would celebrate my birthday throughout the month of April; my friends would use their most creative ideas to make each day of April a beautiful memory; my DAD would pamper me with gifts and special lunches, dinners; and I would end up in an entire month of celebration with a grand party on 28th April. I was raised as my dad’s princess. Time passed by and with that all that I once took for granted became an unfulfilled desire. I got busy in life, lost contact with my old friends, lost my DAD, and had entered a path, which had its highs and lows. Birthday surprises and celebrations now seem to be long-gone fairytales of which I was once part of. But today, I’m not longing to the good memories anymore. Today, I am celebrating my birthday and something is different. And this is how it should be.
A Journey Of Enlightenment:
While life started giving me surprises of broken relationships and betrayal, a higher degree of success, love and contentment was flowing towards me. And this is what I call “Journey Of Enlightenment.” Help and support started pouring in from unexpected sources, and I felt the transformation. Unlike the past, now as I approach my birthday, I ponder on ways to make the remainder of the years of my life a celebration for others and in doing so I keep on discovering myself. I concentrate on the ‘calling’ for which I’m here. Whether something was meant to be or meant to leave, doesn’t matter much anymore. The cycle of life and the stage of life is all set for a greater cause.
Thousands of women are living life as a single mother, so I am not asking anymore why fate chose me for this status? I know, it’s not only for me to live through it, and so I have to rise above and create a more satisfactory and bright space for all single moms and their kids around the world. After all, I owe it to my tribe.
Almost crumbling to the ground in depression and loneliness; I looked at this world as a ruthless creation of God.
But as Winnie the Pooh once said: “you can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes” and so I crawled my way to stand up again but this time only to GIVE ‘N’ INSPIRE. Everything changed from here. And now, I’m happy that each and every birthday has a bigger goal; a goal that would add brilliance to the lives of many women and children.
Start your own story
Your birth and death are beyond your control but with whatever is SCRIPTED, you can craft your own story. Somewhere between what you survive and who you become is only the jigsaw puzzle pieces arranged and rearranged to exactly what you are meant to be. Even if you can’t change the entire world, you still are inspired by your own life to change your part of it, and at least put smiles on the people you share it with. A heartbreak, an unsuccessful career, a struggling life should not burn your soul; you have to fly regardless.
The world is inspired by women and men of wisdom and compassion; richness and success is a by-product of the goodness that you believe in, and that reflects upon the world. Your inner power will make you world class and differentiate you from the average.
Stop for a moment and hear the silence of your soul; the silence, which is the result of thousands of untold pains and hidden tears; the silence, which your soul chose over the increasing noises of discomfort; the silence, which your soul embraced after rejections and disagreements. This is the silence that has endured the deepest lessons of gratitude, perseverance, and love. Resonate with this silence of your soul to strengthen your inner power and to create an unbeatable and the best version of yourself. This resonance will make you win all of the goodness from all of the negativity.
So my friends, just a few hours before my 42nd birthday, through my words, I share my dream with you all to leave this place a little better than you found it and my strongest belief that your inner power can do miracles not only for yourself but a much larger world around you. Our failings are grace that rekindles our hope to continue to move on and win.
